A year ago, seasoned boat owners, Tony and Gaebrille Derham bought Komotion, the original Whitehaven 7000 Flybridge built for Whitehaven Managing Director Bruce and Julie Scott.
The year is already off to a flying start and we’re thrilled to hear stories of summer adventures from our owners who have cruised the Harbour, Hawkesbury and the east coast in their vessels.
At this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 25 to 28 May, we will host several gatherings for owners and friends. SCIBS is our home show and it’s the one to have on your calendar because it’s the best time of year, a great location, filled with people enjoying themselves and of course, an excellent choice of boats on show.
The new financial year saw the official introduction of another manufacturer to the Whitehaven business with the Taiwan Based Shipyard, Kha Shing Enterprise being appointed to build the Whitehaven models of 60ft and above.
The new Whitehaven 6500 models are essentially the 6100 models with an additional hull length of 1.3 meters. This extra length capability was incorporated into the original hull design and the molds were constructed to produce hull lengths from 18 meters to just over 19.5 meters.
When the Harbour Classic 40 was launched on the Australian Boating scene, its classic Down East design lines turned heads all along the East Coast. With easy performance and handling, this stylish dayboat attracted plenty of attention.
