What a show! Sanctuary Cove 2023 was simply amazing, and in the words of our Managing Director, Bruce Scott, “it was a celebration of unexpected optimism all round!”
“You could not get a better location or better weather for a boat show,” he said.
“The sunshine over all four days brought out the buyers and we were thrilled me meet up with our dealers, owners and visitors interested in our brands.”
Whitehaven was proud to present the bespoke 6000 Flybridge model, which attracted plenty of praise for its condition in its fourth year of ownership. “It was a great improvise” said Bruce after we fell short of being able to display the vessel originally intended due to supply chain and production delays. A sincere thank you to the owners of the 6000 Flybridge ‘La Robelle’ who very generously loaned us their vessel to display at short notice.
The results from the show reinforced Whitehaven’s commitment to creating bespoke motor yachts with an order confirmed for a new Sports Flybridge vessel which has been specifically designed to suit the requirements of the new owners who prefer a lower cockpit area for those activities closer to the water including their love of recreational fishing. With the addition of the cockpit and short platform, the vessel has a LOA of 20.4m or 67 feet and has become the inspiration to create the first new Whitehaven 6500 Sports Flybridge model.
This is a real change in build design for Whitehaven with our first ever cockpit vessel in the Motor Yacht range being commissioned and due for completion by December 2024. This 6500SF vessel embodies Whitehaven philosophy of delivering exactly what customers request and the addition of a cockpit model has opened up further sales opportunities.
