The Whitehaven family gathered for an exclusive event at Empire Lounge, Rose Bay to celebrate the launch of the game changing Harbour Classic 40 and the official debut of ‘Elementa’ – the first Whitehaven 6100 Coupe featuring the superyacht inspired Euro Edition Interior Styling Package.
The MC for the evening was Seven’s Sunrise and Sports presenter, Mark Beretta, who hosted a Q&A with naval architect and yacht designer, Misha Merzliakov, on the new generation vessels. Whitehaven co-founder, Bruce Scott, shed light on the exacting process behind every Whitehaven and the vision for the brand and the business.
Despite a gusty westerly, the glamorous Peacock-blue hulled first model of the Harbour Classic 40 was the focus of attention. Christened “Tonic”, she has been meticulously designed for spontaneous and carefree entertaining aboard with all the mod cons of boutique apartment living and luxury customisable options that you have come to expect of a Whitehaven vessel.
The layout offers an easy transition from cockpit, through to the saloon and the galley, allowing the conversation and hospitality to flow between all aboard. With its proven hull design, exceptional engineering and hand built craftsmanship, every aspect of this vessel is both fit for purpose and beautiful.
She also offers all the entertaining galley essentials including a microwave, cooktop, dishwasher and more than ample refrigeration (in addition to the cockpit fridge drawers and icemaker). While clearly catering to the day boating occasion, she offers the best of both worlds with a comfortable dual cabin arrangement for overnight/weekends aboard.
