A family face and name in the industry and to many Whitehaven and Integrity owners, Nick Ward has joined the Spectrum Marine sales team, based at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast.
Nick has worked with both the Whitehaven and Integrity brands in the past, and during that time he sold the 6000FB “Koa Moana”, the Harbour Classic 40 “Tonic” and 7500SY “Finito” whose owners upgraded to an 8000SY, “Panache”.
Nick has returned to Whitehaven after a stint in Bathurst as a sales rep for New Holland equipment.
“I love being based on the Gold Coast after spending most of my life in Sydney,” he said. “I’m enjoying the sailing and beach driving, boating and enjoying the Coast culture, which is based around the water. The people are friendly and you can actually achieve work-life balance.”
We also have a new Group Operations Manager in Marianne Chatwin, who has worked for 13 or so years in boat brokerage and the marine industry.
Marianne honed her expertise at the Ensign Group where she oversaw the operations of both the brokerage side of the business and the ordering and importation of the new builds sold nationwide.
“After a short stint out of the industry, I am back in the mix again with some old and new colleagues as Operations Manager. The Whitehaven Group has expanded significantly with sales increasing as well, so I am working towards streamlining procedures and operational processes to make the transactions as seamless as possible moving forward.”
