It’s a cause close to our hearts, and this year we were thrilled to support once again the annual Youngcare Long Lunch as the event’s major sponsor.
Youngcare is an Australia-wide not-for-profit, revolutionising the way young people with high care disability live – with freedom, dignity and choice.
Through its initiatives, Youngcare provides purpose-built specialist disability housing and provides Grants for young people to remain living in their home or, to move into accessible housing, among many other roles supporting young people with high physical support needs.
Channel Nine presenter, Sylvia Jeffreys has been a Youngcare Ambassador since 2017, and hosted this year’s Youngcare lunch, 25 October at Machine Hall in Sydney’s CBD. Corporate and TV identities and philanthropists attended, and we were proud to host Whitehaven owners at this very worthwhile fundraiser.
Bruce and Julie Scott joined Sydney-based Whitehaven dealer Mark Riley and Ryan Hanson Whitehaven Director & Production manager, and owners for a convivial afternoon of entertainment, insightful speakers, raffles and donations.
The event served as a great welcome to our newest Whitehaven owners who are having their 6000 flybridge commissioned on the Gold Coast in time for a Christmas arrival in their home port of Sydney
