Having safely arrived in Australia and completing her finishing touches and commissioning, the second Harbour Classic 40 from Whitehaven took a spin on the Gold Coast’s Broadwater.
Earlier this year, the second Harbour Classic 40 arrived in Australia. Without her final interior touches and paint job, she was a little unassuming. However, the work has been completed under the guidance of Production Director, Ryan Hanson and she was recently unveiled on the Gold Coast’s Broadwater.
On a clear Autumn day, the Sandstone Bronze hull glistened against azure waters. It turned many heads.
Hull colour aside, there have been some significant changes to the second Harbour Classic 40. When you first step onboard, the cockpit is partially covered with a hardtop. Yet with the push of a button, the retractable awning extends to offer complete sun protection. It is that simple.
The saloon is bright finished Ash Oak with fawn and taupe embossed Majilite wall panels for softness and texture.
down two steps, you land in the fully equipped galley and access to the forward cabin, guest bed and day head.
The whole boat is full head height which is particularly noticeable in the day head; a luxurious space with a separate shower and ample room to change after a refreshing swim.
Whilst, a new door on the forepeak cabin enables complete privacy.
The most significant change is the boat is fitted out by twin Volvo Penta IPS powered by their D4. Owners will have the security of two engines and the manoeuvrability of joystick drive.
